వరుణ దేవుడు మా పార్టీ లో చేరాడు అని మన పెద్ద సారు గారు సెలవిచ్చినందుకో ఏమో గాని వాన భాగ్యనగరిని
ముద్ద చేసేస్తోంది .మన వాళ్లకు గతం నుండి నేర్చుకునే అలవాటు చానా తక్కువ . ఇంతకు మునుపు వర్షాలలో
మురికి కాలువలు పొంగి ప్రవహించినది మరచి పోయారో ఏమో .ఇన్ని సంవత్సరాల తరువాత వాన వచ్చిన అదే పరిస్థితి పునరావృతం అవుతోంది .రోడ్ల మీద నడవాల్సిన కార్లు, మోటారు సైకిళ్ళు మురికి కాలువలలో కొట్టుకోనిపోయి నాయి.ఇక మీదట కార్ల కంపెనీళ్ళ వాళ్లు నీటిలోనూ ,నేలమీదా పరుగేతే వాహనాలను తయారు చేసితే మన భాగ్యనగరిలో యమగిరాకి వుంటుందని చెప్పవచ్చు . బయట వాన పడుతూవుంటే ఇంటిలో కూర్చుని వెచ్చగా రగ్గు కప్పుకొని వేడి గా కాఫీ తాగుతూ టీవీ లో
మంచి పాటలు చూస్తా ఉంటే ఆహాయి , అహో అనిపిస్తుంది కదూ .
కానీ నాకు మాత్రము కరవు పేరు చెపితే ఏ జిల్లా గురుతుకు వస్తుందో అదే గురుతుకు వస్తోంది . మీరు ఊహించింది నిజమే .అదే అనంతపురం జిల్లా . ఇప్పుడు వర్షము వస్తున్నందుకు బాధపదవలేనో , సంతోష పడవలేనో
అర్థము కాని పరిస్థితిలో ప్రజలు ఉన్నారు .ఈ జిల్లలో ప్రధానంగా వేరుశనగ వర్షాధారంగా సాగు చేస్తారు . సమయానికి వాన రాకపోవదముతో అప్పోసప్పో చేసికోన్నటువంటి విత్తనాలను అమ్మివేశారు . ఇప్పుడు వాన వచ్చింది .కాని చేతి లో ఉన్న విత్తనము కాయలును తేగానమ్ముకున్న రాయలసీమ రైతు కష్టాలు పగవాడికి కూడా రాకూడదు .గుడ్డిలో మెల్ల ఏమిటంటే కన్నబిడ్డలుగా సాకినటువంటి పశువులను కబెలాకు అమ్మే బాధ
తప్పుతుంది .పిలుస్తే వచ్చేవాడు చుట్టమయితే పిలవకుండా వచ్చేది మాకు కరువే .

Whose fault it is that Hyderabad streets are overflowing? Surely, Hyderabad Municipality has to take major responsibility. But, what about we, the citizens! Are we responsible to deserve a better Municipality. There are majority among us who do not follow civic sense at all in respect of throwing things on to the road, unclassified. Garbage is scattered on major streets. Who is doing this. In a street hitherto some 20 independent houses are there. Suddenly, two house owners decide to sell their sites and an apartment is built and there are now some 1500 people living in that street, with the same drainage and water infrastructure and the size of street being same. When we go there to purchase the street, whether any one of us is thingking about such basic amenities?? Why not ban all construction of apartments within the municipal area and allow such vertical growth only in the outskirts with matching infrastructure. We the people should think and act for our mutual benefit but blaming Municipal Corporation alone is not correct.
